Infant and Toddler
(Birth to 3 years)

Work with infants and toddlers provides an unparalleled view of the marvel of early human development. MECR students learn to interact appropriately in environments specially designed to make the most of the child's tremendous potential in these early years. Emphasis is placed on the role of the caregiver as an assistant to child and the family in the development of positive adult-child relationships.

Academic Phase June 16 - July 28, 2009 -- 8:45 - 4:15 daily (no classes July 3rd)
Practicum Phase September 2009 - June 2010
Seminars December (3 day weekend) and May (3 day weekend)
Application Fee $100 non-refundable ($150.00 after May 1)
Tuition $5,300 (includes course handouts and AMS and MACTE Commission fees)
Overview Course $600*   (*required for students who do not hold a Montessori Early Childhood Credential)
