Mountain Shadows Montessori School is seeking applications for classroom assistants. (Young Child’s Community (1-3 year olds), Primary (3-6 year olds)), and Elementary (1st-6th).
Classroom assistants are responsible for the well-being of the children in the classroom as well as supporting the teacher with a variety of tasks. Job Description
Due to increased enrollment, the Gilpin County School District RE-1 seeks a Paraprofessional for the Montessori Upper Elementary grades 4, 5, and 6. Gilpin County Schools serve approximately 450 PS-12 students with 50 staff members on one site. The District is on a 4-day a week schedule, Monday through Thursday. This position begins August 15, 2016.

The Paraprofessional is directed by the teacher and provides support of the educational services for students. Fosters a relationship with students based upon warmth, concern, mutual respect, and shared excitement in learning. Assists in the overall programming for students under the direction of assigned personnel.

Based on Classified Salary Schedule DOE range $11.64 to $14.17 an hour. District paid health, dental, and vision insurance.

Curriculum, Materials, and School Performance
