Description of Position
The Director is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the administration of the school,
including but not limited to:

• recruitment, hiring, supervision, and support of faculty and staff
• maintenance and implementation of systems and policies necessary to support the work
that happens in the classrooms
• ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of the school
• recruitment and admissions of new students

The Director will report directly to the Board of Directors and will collaborate with the BOD to ensure that the organization has a long-range strategy and that it achieves annual goals that align with its broader vision.

Qualifications (Minimum and Preferred)
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, as well as administrative/management experience in an educational setting.
Director certification a must.
Experience managing a budget and reporting to a Board of Directors strongly desired.

Assist students by reinforcing learning skills in their daily schedules. Reinforce appropriate school behavior
and encourage students to become independent and meet their IEP goals.
