Assistants’ Essentials 2.0 is a full-day, hands-on Montessori workshop designed specifically for classroom assistants.
This time, we’re putting the materials in your hands.
Explore them. Play with them. Get stuck. Figure something out. Discover what children are experiencing when they work with Montessori materials—and what they need from the adults around them.
Through level-specific Infant/Toddler, Early Childhood, and Elementary experiences, participants will learn to:
NOTICE what is actually happening.
UNDERSTAND the learning beneath the activity.
SUPPORT the child without taking over their work.
Because sometimes helping means stepping in.
And sometimes the most powerful thing an assistant can do is protect the child’s opportunity to figure it out.
