Plans, supervises and implements a consistent sequenced educational program that stimulates learning in the cognitive, affective, social, creative and physical areas of development.
Organizes an appropriate and enriched Montessori classroom, educational curriculum, and cooperates with other staff members.
Gears educational program to the needs of individual children with concern for their interests, special talents, special needs and individual style of learning.
Implements methods for effective training and supervision of classroom assistants with attention to developing a team approach to meeting the needs of children.
Helps children become aware of their roles as integral members of a group by modeling and guiding.
Qualifications: Base Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Early Childhood Education or ECE Teacher Qualified in Colorado.
Professionally educated as a Montessori teacher, holding either an AMI (American Montessori International) or AMS (American Montessori Society) or other MACTE Accredited Certification for age hired.
